Vape detection started as an unrefined extension of smoke alarms. Early products tried to repurpose photoelectric smoke detector styles for electronic cigarette aerosols and did not carry out effectively. They missed out on lots of real occasions, activated continuously on hairspray or fog devices, and produced so many false alarms that fire alarm system maintenance facilities manager
